Whether it be a diary, travel journal, writer’s notepad, painter’s sketchpad, screenplay, film shoot . . . these media all share the way in which they instigate their dialogue with the world. They all amass traces, specimens, pictures and signs. The artist collects, compiles, interprets through different illustrative techniques, texts, audio and video . . .
As a phenomenon of fashion or society and as an object in the process of disappearance or work of public interest, the exhibition brings to the public, in practice and in findings, the notebook, a format new and familiar at the same time.
